Our impact statement

The full picture, in one document.

What we repair, how projects are chosen, and where the money goes. It covers our approach to homes, community buildings and small businesses, the controls we apply to every project, and what we can and can’t yet evidence.

What we can’t yet show

We’re not yet a registered charity, so we don’t publish annual accounts. Registration is in progress and we’ll publish them in full when we can.

In the meantime, everything on this page is something we can evidence.

Where the money goes

What it costs to process a donation.

Exactly what a donation costs us to process before it reaches a project.

Fees and overhead

Donations are reduced by two separate fees before the money reaches us: a card processing fee charged by Stripe, and a platform fee charged by Donorbox. Both are listed separately in our donation records and both are counted below.

2.25%

Card processing

Charged by Stripe

2.50%

Platform fee

Charged by Donorbox

4.75%

Total fees

Of gross donations

Donations made in other currencies carry an additional currency-conversion cost, so the blended rate across all income is higher than 4.75%.
