FAQ’s
How do you determine which families deserve support?
Haboba’s House evaluates each case individually, with priority given to families who are currently in Sudan. These are the people most affected and many of them are living in extremely difficult conditions, without safety or support.
What payment methods do you accept?
We are currently accepting donations through Donorbox. You can contribute using a variety of payment methods, including credit/debit cards, Stripe and Apple Pay. When you donate, you’ll be able to choose the option that works best for you.
Can I set up a monthly donation?
Yes! When you donate through Donorbox, you can choose to make a one-time or monthly contribution to our General Fund. Recurring donations allow us to plan ahead and provide consistent support.
How can I be sure my donation is going to the right place?
Every project is identified through a structured assessment process and verified by trusted local coordinators in Sudan. We only support families and community buildings that have been personally assessed and confirmed to be in need.
Donations are used specifically for building materials, labour, and essential repairs. We do not distribute cash to beneficiaries.
We share progress updates and completed project reports, so supporters can see the real impact of their contributions. Donors are always welcome to contact us with questions about specific projects or how their donation has been used. We believe trust is built through openness.
Can I volunteer or get involved beyond donating?
Amplifying our message and sharing our posts on social media are incredibly valuable ways to contribute. If you would like to get involved with fundraising, please get in touch!
Can Haboba’s House refund donations?
If you believe there has been an error or issue with your donation, please contact us directly at habobashouse@hotmail.com – we’ll do our best to help resolve it.
