“We were safe, until this dreaded war…”
“The house is considered the home of the extended family – my father, siblings, uncle, aunt and my cousins. We used to live in safety and security. Life was comfortable; we worked hard, farmed and sought to earn a living – until this dreaded war.
They stole what we owned – vehicles and furniture – and they destroyed and burnt our home. Bombs fell on the roof, causing partial destruction to the ceilings.
[Due to destruction of our shop] there is no source of income so we do not not have the ability to repair our home. Now we are reaching out to you with hope and prayer in Allah that you stand with us”.
